Some of those tools they need are books. So many families in our city can not afford new books. The good news is that 40,000 new donated books will be at the Oncenter next week and will be distributed to kids in our city schools!
That's where you come in. Syracuse city teachers are leading the effort to sort and distribute these books to their students. What they need is help opening boxes of books, sorting the books and getting them ready to be taken to classrooms across Syracuse. Do you have an hour or two to join me and help out next week? Click Here for more info and then RSVP.
This event isn't just about books, education or about our schools. It's about the future of Syracuse. These children are the future of our community. Come join us and make a statement to current and potential residents of Syracuse that we care about their kids. Click Here and signup to help and your time will be put to good use.
