I am reaching out to everyone I know to share exciting news: The Believe in Syracuse committee is holding a Progress Gala on July 22 at 6:30 PM at the historic Hotel Syracuse! Join us in being one of the first of what will sure to be many Syracusan to get an early look at the newly restored elegant hotel. Become a part of the history books along with President Kennedy, Elvis, John Lennon and President Clinton; all of whom has spent time at the hotel while visiting Syracuse.
The Believe in Syracuse Progress Gala will be an incredibly exciting moment for Central New York as we celebrate the re-opening of the historic Hotel Syracuse (soon to be the Marriott Syracuse Downtown).

- Networking with local leaders, influencers and businesses
- Program celebrating exciting progress happening in our community
Tickets are $100 per person and $190 for a party of two. Businesses can take advantage of being associated with Believe in Syracuse and the Hotel Syracuse, two very positively viewed local brands. Tables of 10 and sponsorship opportunities are available.

- Welcomed tens of thousands of visitors to CNY by lighting up our skyline during the 2015 NCAA Tournament
- Organized the historic Onondaga Lake Swim to celebrate the progress made in clean up
- Brought 62 people to an event at Beer Belly Deli which helped them avoid closing.
- Recruited and directed hundreds of volunteers for these community service projects:
- Sorted thousands of books for Syracuse city school teachers to provide for their students
- Weeded, mulched, picked up trash in the courtyard at Syracuse Latin School
- Distributed school supplies to kids on the South Side at Mary Nelson Youth Day
- Served breakfast to the homeless and hungry at the Samaritan Center
- Picked up trash for beautification efforts Downtown, South Side, West Side
