You've been great partners with the Connective Corridor. You've joined us to launch projects, help businesses in the thick of construction, and show support for all the good things happening downtown. Now, the party’s on us, and we want to extend a special thank you invitation to Believe in Syracuse for a memorable evening out. We hope you’ll join us, because when Believe in Syracuse and the Connective Corridor get together, it’s a good time!
Here’s the details:
Friday, August 22, 2014
6:00PM – 10:00PM
Forman Park, East Genesee Street
Outdoor Art, Music and Food, and a Celebration of Summer Syracuse-Style in Forman Park
· A free one-night only multi-media public art show funded by the National Endowment for the Arts with works by regional artists projected on floating screens outdoor in the park. The show was commissioned by the Syracuse University School of Architecture in partnership with the Connective Corridor.
· A free Symphoria ensemble performance at 8 p.m. with a string quartet featuring leading professionals from the orchestra performing a program of both historic and contemporary music;
· French American bistro-styled "small plates" tapas, wine and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase and served next to the illuminated fountain in Forman Park. The food service by Redfields will be available in the park from 6 - 8 p.m. prior to the concert, with beverage service until 9:30 p.m., and you can take food and wine with you as you walk the park and enjoy the music and art.
Wander under the stars surrounded by Forman Park’s “firefly” lighting, mingle with friends, and enjoy an enchanted evening outdoors as you celebrate Summer Syracuse-style. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?
We’d love to see you there and say thanks for your support!
