Don't miss this - our first ever neighborhood engagement day. Our goal is to break down barriers in our community and our neighborhood engagement program will on a monthly basis showcase one Syracuse neighborhood and all the great things it has to offer. Here's our description of the event taken from Facebook. If you can make it please click here and then RSVP.

Join us this Saturday August 10 for a day of volunteering and sightseeing in the Valley neighborhood of Syracuse!
The day will start with a morning at The Valley Nature in the City Run/Walk, sponsored by the Meachem Area Parks Association. Believers are welcome to run or walk the event (enter via the link in the "tickets" section of this events page) or to volunteer helping the police to stop and direct traffic at intersections along the run.
After the run/walk, all are invited to join us for a tour of some of the famous and should-be-famous points of interest in the Valley and the South Side. Stops will include, among others, Webster's Pond, Swallows Tavern, Elmwood and Lower Onondaga Parks, Luigi's Pizza & Italian Restaurant, and, of course, Gannon's Ice Cream.
