One week from today, Believe in Syracuse and ACR Health are holding the first ever 'Cuse Give Mob. This is really exciting.
The goal is to celebrate Syracuse living through local giving. We're doing that by asking you to brown bag it for lunch next Tuesday and donate what you would have spent on lunch to charity. That charity is the Syracuse AIDS Walk/Run that is coming up. This is part of the huge ACR Health "Paint The Town Red" campaign and we're so excited to be a part of such a great cause.
Here's the secret part: the event location has not been announced but I will give you a hint: It's in Downtown Syracuse and it will be during the lunch hour. I would get in trouble if I told you much more than that!
The good news is that all will be revealed this Saturday morning via our social media sites AND on Weekend Today with Laura Hand on CNY Central.
All of the proceeds from the 'Cuse Give Mob will go toward ACR Health (Formerly AIDS Community Resources) is a non-profit health service agency. All donations stay local here in Central New York for ACR Health's support programs. Believe in Syracuse has a walk team for the Syracuse AIDS Walk/Run. If you'd like to be part of that team, or chip in $10 or whatever you can, Click Here.
Mark your calendar to join the first ever 'Cuse Give Mob in Downtown Syracuse on Tuesday May 27th at lunch time. Get your brown bag ready. Start tweeting using #CuseGiveMob and get excited for this awesome event.
Thanks,
John DeSantis
